June To Do List

Hello everyone! I can't believe when I'm posting this it's already June. The weather here in the south has been really humid as of lately so I'm excited to go on vacation and relax by the ocean. Today I wanted to share with you a few tasks I want to try to get done this month.

-Take a Fashion Illustration Class
I've been telling myself for awhile now when summer starts I want to join a fashion illustration class. As you all probably know by now I'm a huge fashion lover especially when it comes to the designing aspect of it. I'd like to consider myself very creative and I really enjoy art/ drawing but I'd love to improve my skills. A few of my favorite fashion illustrators are Megan Hess, Holly Nichols, and Kerrie Hess.

-Meditate
I hate to admit it but I'm a very worrisome person. I'm constantly in my own my thoughts and daydream. I often times think about something that gets me worked up and stressed. A few years ago I started meditating a little each day and it helped me to reflect on the positive things in my life. It was very distressing because you stop everything else your doing and it gives you a minute to breathe.

-Socialize
I think nowadays more people tend to be lazy when it comes to reaching out to other people. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels like this but I feel like everyone wants to be approached to first. I'll admit I'm even guilty of doing this. I want to try to make more of an effort to reach out to people because I don't socialize nearly as much as I should. When I do go out with friends I always enjoy it and tell myself I need to do it more.

-Go on a Hike
I'm not the biggest fan of the outdoors. I do the occasional bit of gardening and running outside but other than that I stay inside for the most part. I mean I do go outside to walk to go inside a store does that count? I want to plan a day to go hiking because every now and then everyone needs to get out and explore nature. It can be very refreshing to have a change of scenery and switch up your normal everyday routine.

-Retail Therapy
Not that I need anymore things but a little window shopping never hurt anyone! I swear I never feel more calm and relaxed than when I'm shopping. I love the rush I get when I find the perfect skirt. I realize how much that makes me sound like a shopaholic but I can't help it if it's true!

Thank you so much for reading. Please let me know in the comments below what's on your June to do list. I'd love to compare!
