High Fashion Trends to Incorporate in Your Wardrobe This Year

Chiffon Midi Skirts
Chiffon is one of the dreamiest materials. It reminds me of clouds. The way it swishes back and forth is so effortless. It's a light material which makes it very bouncy which I love. It's so pretty layered over other materials as well. It's very loved in the haute couture world and I can see why. I really want to add more chiffon in my wardrobe this year as well as midi skirts. Midi skirts are being worn everywhere lately. They're so classy!

Yellow
Yellow isn't a color I find myself wearing often. In fact, I don't see other people wear it often either. It's a very intimidating color to style because of how uncommon it is. Yellow is really gorgeous if it's styled correctly and is the right shade. It can be tricky but it's absolutely stunning when the look comes all together.

Petite Handbags
I've always been a fan of smaller handbags. Personally, I don't like having a huge bag because  I don't carry a lot with me. I just need the basic essentials. I like wearing crossbodies because it allows me to be hands-free. Instead of the usual long chains, some petite bags have small handles you use to hold them. It's adorable but you aren't completely hands-free which can be an issue. Overall though I'm in love with petite handbags.

Two-Tone
Black and white are timeless in two-toned outfits. You can always rely on this iconic duo if you don't know what colors go together. Two toned outfits are so unique and make your outfit look so much more complex than it actually is. I love the look of two pastel colors or two darker shades together. It's very chic.

Sparkly Tights
Tights are amazing for winter they practically were made for the cold weather. Common tights colors are black, grey, and tan but sometimes that can be boring. Sparkly tights are perfect when you want to add a little something to your look. You can wear them any time of the year because they're not very thick. They're usually see-through and thin.

Oversized Flowers/ Bows
This is one of those trends that take you out of your comfort zone. Oversized bows and flowers are so whimsical. One way you can style them is by having a big bow or flower on a simple dress. It's all about finding balance. If you want to make it practical I recommend styling them with more simple pieces instead of flashy ones. It would look incredible on a statement piece for an occasion or night look.

Those are some trends I'm going to incorporate in my wardrobe this year. Let me know in the comments which trends you're going to try.
